- Device information (device type, operating system, device identifiers) for push notifications and analytics.
- Usage data (articles read, sports followed, app interactions) to personalise your experience.
- Crash and performance data to improve app stability.
- Push notification tokens to deliver alerts you have requested.
How we use your data
- To provide and personalise the Premium Sport service.
- To send push notifications for sports and teams you follow (only if you grant permission).
- To analyse usage and improve the platform.
- To communicate with you about your account.
Who we share your data with
- Africa's Talking (SMS delivery for freelancer accounts only).
- Cloudinary (image storage and delivery).
- Vercel (hosting infrastructure).
We use infrastructure and analytics tools to maintain platform reliability. These may be updated as our technical stack evolves.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data retention
Account data is retained until you delete your account. After deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days. Crash and analytics data is retained for 12 months.
Your rights
